The core values are the core values of the apostolic center By Design. 
- Character for anointing
- Leading role of the Holy Spirit
- Kingdom Vision
- Recognition 5-fold ministry with apostle/prophet leadership
All of these 4 must be recognized and embraced. So if a ministry embraces 3 of the 4 but, for example, does not have a kingdom vision, or places anointing over character then this means an insufficient match to be part of the By Design network. 
The positive effect of this is that each participant feels at home in the network and does not have to defend or explain themselves about 1 or more of these 4 issues.

Because By Design has a strong and clear apostolic and prophetic character, each participant can also expect that the input received will also have this character. In particular, the prophetic will be directional and reveal destination and timing and strategy. The apostolic input will be about building and the necessary structures needed to reach the destination.
One of the outgrowths of this input is that the participant not only stays focused but also that the progress of the ministry is sustained and adjusted as needed.

The By Design network is also the place of accountability in ministry but also in personal ethics and doctrine. Accountability is basically given to the apostolic team of By Design. This means that from By Design constructive input and possibly directive input can be given in case correction is needed. 

For clarity of affairs, only one network can be the primary accountability network. So for participants, By Design is the primary network where accountability is provided. However, participants can be attached to a secondary network to receive necessary input there.

The apostolic team itself is also accountable to a couple outside the apostolic center. There is regular contact with them so that they are aware of the affairs of the center and they are very involved in the developments of the center.

The point of accountability is not without relationship. The By Design network is largely relational. In this sense, the network is more a community with personal interpersonal relationships than a network of business contacts. The relationships are between the participants and the apostolic team but also, to a significant degree, among themselves.
Because of its personal, relational nature, By Design can and will also provide back up in situations where participants are under attack personally or their ministry.

The By Design network is not a franchise. With franchise, you can think of Mc Donalds where every Mc Donald delivers the exact same burger and the same fries. The franchise model assumes a headquarters that determines everything and from which all the franchise business only has to copy and execute.

By Design is based on the principle that each participant is unique and has a unique set of vision, talent and calling to achieve a specific God-given destiny. Each participant is able to understand the voice of God for their ministry. The framework of the 4 core values of By Design is broad enough to encompass a variety and much colorfulness of ministries.

Many resources are available within the By Design house. These include trainings that Living in your Destiny provides but also individuals with gifts and talents and character shown who are available to support participating ministries. The reverse is also important. Participants all have a unique color and flavor and insights and revelations that can and will be of great value to other participants as well.

The By Design network is a network of apostolic and prophetic ministries active in one or more of the seven mountains. The By Design network provides coverage for these ministries. To be clear, ministries include businesses and congregations.

A distinction is made between ministry leaders and the ministry itself. The leaders themselves are part of a local congregation, while their ministry is part of the By Design network. This means that for personal and pastoral (family) needs, the local congregation is the appropriate agency. Thus, the By Design network cannot and will not provide care in this area.

The agreements between the By Design network and participants are laid down in a covenant. This states that participants endorse the 4 core values of the DNA and are ambassadors of the characteristics and values of By Design. It also states that it gives both parties the right to terminate participation. The covenant is a document signed by both the participant and By Design.

The By Design network is a new initiative. In this, too, the Holy Spirit has the first and last word. This means that the network is not a rigid, bureaucratic and managerial apparatus. It moves with the revelation and insights given by the Holy Spirit. This requires flexibility from both By Design and the participants to move with it.

The network is not limited to the Netherlands but is in the process of growing into an international network of mainly European congregations and ministries.

The By Design network does not charge a fixed financial contribution for participation in the network. The heart of By Design is to support and include ministries in the community to see God's Kingdom become manifest in the world. While contributions are not required it is natural to sow into the ministry from which prophetic and apostolic input and support is received. By Design is a separate ANBI foundation.
